Daagnim Records

Label run by jazz trumpeter Dennis Gonzalez, founded in March 1978 by González, Bill Emery and Gerard Bendiks. The label is part of daagnim (short for "Dallas Association for Avant-Garde and Impressionistic Music)" being a group organized to educate, perform and provide rehearsal space for creative musicians in the North Texas area, much along the lines of the AACM in Chicago
