D. Roopanand Bros.

Roopanands (officially Roopanand Bros (Pty) Ltd.) is South Africa's largest importer of Indian music, film, literature, clothing and other cultural items. The company was founded in 1932 by brothers Dhonday and Sewbarun Roopanand and began by importing merchandise such as books, musical instruments and gramophone from India by sea. Arvind Roopanand, Sewbarun's son, later took over the business.
