Del Valle Recording Studio

Small label started in the back of the home of Cristobal Garcia on 17th Street, in McAllen, Texas in the late 1950s. All recordings were made in the small studio behind the house on 17th Street (later moved to 100 South 25th Street in McAllen, Texas where the records were also pressed & shrink-wrapped for retail release). Dozens of artists, including Los Tremendos Gavilanes, Juan Montoya, El Conjunto Bernal, Los Alegres De Teran, Carlos Y Jose, Los Donnenos, Los Rancheritos Del Topochico, Los Regionals De Texas, and many others went to the Garcia home to record their now vintage corridos & polkas.
