Javabass Recordings

Javabass is a drum n bass soundsystem based in Jakarta, now consisted of Jerome, FanDyFMC, Sketch, Random and Celcius. For more than 10 years now Javabass has made a mark in the Indonesian underground dance scene with the various parties since 2000 & running the longest monthly DnB night, Throughout the years, Javabass have become a respectable household name that continues to deliver DnB events regularly in Jakarta. It eventually becomes a vehicle to bring together ideas & exploration in music production. The move prompted the crew to create this compilation with support from other collectives. The last few years saw flourishing numbers of producers. Many of them are first-timers but that doesn’t seem to prevent them from creating drum ‘n’ bass tunes worth listening for. This label represents an idea that magnifies through the test of time. It has brought several collectives into a single unifying force to redefining drum ‘n’ bass and it’s place in Indonesian electronic dance community. It also serves as tool to spreads the love through " Jungle Culture ".
