Verve 60th Anniversary

Collection of 60 CDs (reissues of as many Verve LPs), released in Japan by Universal Music K.K. in 2004. The series celebrates the 60th anniversary of Verve Records, although that year wasn't, since the label wasn't founded until 1953. 2004 was, on the other hand, the 60th anniversary ot the first JATP concerts in 1944. The series includes the following subseries: - Verve 60th Anniversary Supreme Sound Edition (series # 1 to 10; label # UCCV-9151 to UCCV-9160 respectively. The same releases were also published within the Verve 60th Anniversary Supreme Sound Edition SACD subseries, each identified by series # 1 to 10, too, and label # UCGU-7031 to UCGU-7040); - Verve 60th Anniversary Essential & Rare Collection (series # 11 to 60; label # UCCV-9161 to UCCV-9210 respectively).
