The Galleria del Corso was founded in 1961 by singer Teddy Reno, who had already had a record as founding the CGD, which was then sold to Ladislao Sugar.
Always interested to discover new talents, Teddy Reno at that time he was working as a producer for the ARC, and also organized the Festival of unknown Ariccia, which he founded in 1961 but decided to return to care for discography.
The new label was named after the registered (Galleria del Corso 4 in Milan, where I also had the seat of many record labels and music publishing), and for the distribution leaned against the CGD.
In addition to Teddy Reno, the artists of the Galleria del Corso 'are to remember the group of Campanino, Bruno Mars and Henry Wright.
With the closure of the label, the catalog was incorporated by CGD.
