Italian label created in 1966 by Vincenzo Micocci after his A&R experience at RCA Italiana and Dischi Ricordi. Co-founders are Ennio Morricone, Nico Fidenco and lyricist Carlo Rossi (2). The latter moves the office from Viale Bruno Buozzi 3 (in Parioli area, Rome) to Via Asiago 8, next to RAI headquarters. Here arrive acclaimed artists such as Donatella Moretti, Fausto Cigliano, Louiselle, Jula de Palma and move first steps Edoardo Bennato, Melissa (33), Gli Alunni Del Sole, helped by arranger & pianist Gianni Dell'Orso. In the office are also working Rosario Ponzio (administr.), Matilde Amorosi (press), authors and arrangers Gianni Mazza and Aldo Tamborrelli and young "handyman" Rino Catricalà (Louiselle's brother) and Claudio Casalini. The label, distributed by Decca Dischi Italia S.p.A., also published many soundtracks by Luis Bacalov, Bruno Nicolai, Armando Trovaioli and by the same Ennio Morricone himself.
