POO Records

Established in 1990 in Maidenhead, Berkshire, England. Home at various times to assorted lo-fi pop, rock, folk and electronic artists including Pwürg, Wire Jesus, National Disorder, Monkfish (2) and Damon Torsten. Many original releases were cassette-only, and the label often employed a vigilante method of leaving unsolicited releases on the shelves in record shops. POO Records is still active some three decades later, now based in Melbourne, Australia, with UK and European distribution still in Maidenhead.
