They produced and distributed unlicensed legendary edits which became heavily sought after and widely bootlegged. Simon 'Lovejoy' was the engineer on the first two Black Cock Records 'BCOK007 - No way Back' & 'Black Cock BCOK069'. All Future Black Cock records BCOK077 ,BK068 , BK076, BK016 & BK017 etc were recorded & produced in DJ Harvey's home Studio by Gerry Rooney & Dj Harvey. “I consider re-editing a part of the DJs job through the '70s and '80s and most mixes are edited in some way.
