Operated by Adam Voith, TNI Books was started in 1999 in Oakland, California (as ChapelleTNI) and relocated to Seattle, Washington later that year. Became inactive in 2006. - The first book, Adam Voith's Bridges with Spirit, was released in a limited, hand-bound run. A larger scale second edition was released in the year 2000. - Damien Jurado's Postcards and Audio Letters came next. The CD - co-released with Made In Mexico - is a collection of audio love letters, answering machine messages and boombox records discovered and purchased for pennies in local thrift stores. - Next was Buchen's A Guitar for Janie. This kids story was illustrated by Rob Patterson and comes complete with a seven-inch record titled Progress by Pedro the Lion. - Followed by the first issue of quarterly print magazine Littel Engines, features writing, interviews, comics, music and surprises from Jim Munroe, Damien Jurado, Al Burian, Adam Voith, Zak Sally, Susannah Felts, David Drury, Andy Jenkins, Gerald Beckman, Chris Pew and Dälek. - Their fifth release was "Baseball is Just Baseball", The Understated Ichiro. An unauthorized collection compiled by David Shields, a quote book of Ichiro Suzuki in his own words. - Their sixth release was issue #2 of Little Enginges. This edition Included stories, comics, illustrations, photos, interviews, etc., from Camden Joy, Josh Hooten, Damien Jurado, Andy Jenkins, Bethann Shannon, Jamie Hunt, David Drury, Stephanie Drury, Bem Jimmerson, Holly Day, Dave Fischoff, Matt Fagan, Kevin Sampsell, William Cashman, Josh Golden, Todd Dills, Eun-Ha Paek, and Tony Larson. - In 2002, Lost Joy by Camden Joy was released. - Another two issues of Little Engine were released until 2003 (Adam Voith revived the magazine in 2021 and released issue number five). - Adam Voith's second book STAND UP, ERNIE BAXTER: YOU'RE DEAD (with comic illustrations by Mike Lowery) was released in 2003. - Finally, they co-released a record by Zach Hill & Holy Smokes with Suicide Squeeze in 2004.
