JEC Carnot
Настоящее имя: JEC Carnot
The JEC Carnot (for "Jeunesses Etudiantes Chrétiennes") was the catholic student association of the Lycée Carnot (high school) in Paris. They organized events, spectacles and week-ends in the country, many of them were subject of a "souvenir" record in the 1960s. These records were usually produced in studio before the event, and were sold to the participants afterwards.
Strong figures of theJEC Carnot in the 1960s were Alain Exer, Jean-Claude Boissier and the Abbé Manet.
The JEC Carnot records can be identified with their catalogue numbers JECC XX. Also note that several other recordings made for this association's events don't mention the JEC at all, instead, they are "Not on label" or show as label the name of the studio where they were recorded.
