Rooster Records

Folk label from Vermont. Founded by William Wright (5) in 1976. Rooster Records released over 30 LPs of traditional musicians and singer-songwriters in the '70s and '80s until it was destroyed by fire in 1987. Some of its artists included Jody Stecher, Sandy Bradley, John Herald, The Delta Sisters, Michael Hurley, Cathy Fink, Jon Cooper, Swallowtail, Tom MacKenzie, Geoff Stelling, The Corn Dodgers, Wright & Reiman, Steve Mullaney, and Dick McCormack.
