Audio Club Of Britain
Настоящее имя: Audio Club Of Britain
Audio Club of Britain (also known as Britannia Music Club) was a mail-order music club in the UK in the 1970's. It was a membership club that once joining, you committed to purchasing a certain number of records per year. The enticement was being able to buy some extremely cheap records at the introduction to the club. The club re-pressed copies of popular releases, using their own catalogue numbers always starting with ACB, which they then used for these cheap introductions to the club.
Audio Club of Britain had some connection with Polydor/Phonogram/Deutsche Grammophon, as most of the releases they sold were on these labels or subsidiaries.
