American songwriter, producer, singer, pastor, and record executive. Born August 19, 1945 in Orlando, Florida. He is known for starting the Miami Mass Choir, The Mississippi Mass Choir, the Dallas Fort Worth Mass Choir, and the Georgia Mass Choir. Rev. Milton Biggham has over 40 plus years in gospel music. He is now the pastor of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey. Rev. Biggham has recorded, performed with, written for and/or produced some of the biggest names in gospel including the legendary Rev. James Cleveland, Albertina Walker, Rev. Clay Evans, Rev. Timothy Wright, the New Jersey Mass Choir, LaShun Pace, Dorothy Norwood, Inez Andrews and many others. Some of his more popular compositions include “I’m Blessed” and “What He’s Done for Me”. He was the executive director of the Savoy Records label for a time in the 1980s. He produced Rev. James Cleveland’s albums “Lord, Let Me Be an Instrument” (1980) and “Having Church” (1990), both of which Cleveland won Grammys for. He was nominated for the Best Gospel Choir Or Chorus Album for the album "Higher" by the Georgia Mass Choir in 2001.
