Louis Peter Grijp

Louis Peter Grijp (The Hague, January 23, 1954 - Driebergen, January 9, 2016) was an endowed professor at the University of Utrecht in the field of Dutch song culture, and a scientific researcher at the Meertens Institute in Amsterdam. He was also a lute player and artistic director of the Utrecht music ensemble Camerata Trajectina for 40 years (up to and including 2015). Under his leadership, the company released around 40 LPs and CDs with old Dutch songs.
