The Theatre Arts Committee

The Theatre Arts Committee (TAC) as formed in 1938, an alliance of left-wing film, theater, and radio entertainers, and for almost two years it staged a variety of politically charged shows. TAC published a monthly magazine and promoted a variety of recordingss, radio programs and a weekly cabaret in New York with a marked anti-Nazi flavor at the same time it promoted an antiwar message.
