Tony Gyselinck

Belgian drummer. Studied music theory, music history and percussion at the Koninklijk Muziekconservatorium Gent. Played with "kleinkunst" artists such as Zjef Vanuytsel, Bert De Coninck and Kris De Bruyne in the seventies. Also toured some time with Boudewijn De Groot and The Pebbles.In 1981 he became the drummer of the BRT Jazzorkest until its dissolution in 1991. He performed with many well-known artist both in jazz, variété and rock, e.g. MilkShake Banana, Tony Bauwens, Jack van Poll, Bert Joris, Toots Thielemans, Peter Hens, Thijs Van Leer, Dave Pike, Jef Coolen, Eddie Daniels, Sadi, Jo Lemaire, Rocco Granata. He is also a guest lecturer at the Koninklijk Muziekconservatorium of Antwerp.
