Manolo Heras

Spanish Flamenco singer born in Madrid in 1919, known as "Niño de Madrid" or "El bolas", he stood out in the flamenco circles of Madrid since he was 10 years old. In 1962 he suffered a throat infection and had to give up his career as a professional singer. From that date on, he worked in various trades as a lottery salesman and shoeshine without ever leaving flamenco singing. He continued singing in meetings and various Madrid clubs. In 1975 he began his return to professional flamenco singing and continued singing until the last days of his life. Died in Madrid in1985.
