Mexican singer, actor, TV host He was a member of one of the most successful Mexican children's music groups, "La Onda Vaselina". He was discovered by Mexican actress-singer-producer Julia Isabel "Julissa" De Llano in 1989 when she carried out a countrywide casting for a children's stage play version of the hit US movie "Grease" ("Vaselina", in Spanish). The stage play was called "Vaselina Show '89". In 1990, Luis was selected for a music group 'spin-off' called "La Onda Vaselina". He stayed in the group until its second phase "Onda Vaselina (without the article "La")" during the years 1995 and 1996, when the group became oriented towards teenagers. However, he worked as a supporting member for the performances of the songs from the children's phase only. He was eliminated from the group in late 1996 by the producers even though it had been previously announced that he would join the group full-time and that he would be part of its second teen pop album. Later on, he studied acting and started acting subsequently in TV series and in TV advertisements. He has also worked as voice-over narrator for TV advertisements. In 2019, he reunited with some of his former fellow group members and formed a new group called "¡Qué Buen Reventón!" to commemorate 30 years of connection with "La Onda Vaselina" fans.
