After years spent building a love of music through experimenting with bongos and retro synths, Patrick discovered a love of Djing. He established his first night “Red Skies” in 1997; one of the northeast’s defining venues for the tunes of the time, caning the back room beauties from the Twisted, Yoshitoshi and Fire camps. His debut track Lima was released in 2002 to massive support from industry majors including Deep Dish, Tomiee, Saeed and Palesh. Rarely has a newcomer been so daring as to jump straight into the dark hypnotic beats and tribal percussion that this tune has in abundance. Patrick joined with Adele Holness (of “So Strong” fame) in 2002 and 2003 saw the release of “Who Am I”. The exotic beauty of Adele’s vocals too good to miss out on, Patrick created the underground vocal stormer of the year, plays from the world’s hottest DJs and excellent reviews in DJ Magazine. Fusing dirty Afro-Tribal beats with twisted basslines, Patrick works from studios that incorporate years’ worth of vintage equipment. Forget the “computer programmer” style of production – this is all out funk! At the cutting edge of production, remix work has included some filthy fantastic bootlegs of some big-name vocalists.
