Marina Siertis

Marina Siertis is a band based in Stockholm, previously spelled Marina Sirtis. Formed in 1991 with the name of Innocencia. The band included the members Anders Larsson and Martin Löfgren and Jonas Andersson. In 1993 André Öberg joined and Andersson retired from the group. The group released the 14 track tape "Racerbil". In 1997, they changed name for the first time to Marina Sirtis. At that time members were: Anders Larsson (programming) André Öberg (vocals, programming) Martin Löfgren (vocals, programming). In 1999 the four tracks EP VIEW FROM AN INTERGALACTIC STAR was released. In previous performances they built a living room on stage with armchairs, bookshelves, curtains and stuff where some of the members in the background have been preparing toast and tea and champagne which they have treated the audience. Later, a lot of inflatable stuff appeared on stage. They also shoot soap bubbles, confetti, balloons, aeroplanes and other stuff over the audience. They frequently change clothes on stage and from time to time use masks. In 2003 Martin Fridegren (guitar, programming) joined the band. On 2005-06-22, they changed the name again to Marina Siertis, this time for legal reasons Currently the band members are Martin Fridegren, Martin Löfgren, André Öberg and only on occasions Anders Larsson.
