Jim Lucht

Jazz drummer. Born February 6, 1931, Rock Island, Illinois. At the age of three, moved into the Washington D.C. area. In the early 50's joined the "Airmen of Note". Played in "The Orchestra" at Olivia Davis' Patio Lounge when Bill Potts was leader. Worked with Jack "Jive" Shaffer's Traveling Band in Reno and Tahoe backing Andy Williams, Connie Francis and worked with Bob Crosby, Buddy Morrow, pianist John Eaton and "The New Jazz Quintet"
