French girl who voluntarily exiled in Brazil, she has the youth and energy that suit our confused times. Mixing various musical roots, her first record is above all a musical work. Her original style, she forged it on the stages of current music of Rio de Janeiro, in solo concert or accompanying artists like Marcio Montarroyos, Marcelinho da Lua, DJ Dolores, Katia B among others. The repertoire of this first album consists of songs, all written and arranged by Marion with the exception of the lyrics by Facho de Luz, written by Ruben Maia and a version of Mas que Nada by Jorge Ben Jor. Marion's music evokes an electronic Brazil that skilfully mixes Samba, Chorinho, Drum'nbass and Hip Hop and counts with the intervention of musicians like Marcio Montarroyos, Jamilson da Silva, Fernando Morello (producer of Marcos Sacramento, Arranco de Varsovia), Ricardo Siri (Bossa Cuca Nova), Fabiano Saleke (Garganta Profunda). To sum up: a touch of jazz-electro “Saint Germain” style (from the beginnings), wind instruments finely tied with vocal chords, African drums, berimbau, electro, texts, social and poetic, research… and finds!
