The Bounty Hunters (6)

Grand Rapids, MI, Ska/Punk band active from 1997-1999. The band featured seven members: Aric (vocals), Chris (Trombone), Jeremy (drums), Kevin (trumpet), Vince (saxophone), Yann (guitar), Zach (bass). Their first show took place in the guitarist's basement March 30, 1997. Soon after, they played to a larger audience on April 5, 1997 at Grand Rapids' Lexicon Club w/the Mad Butchers, The Krabs and PR Stunt. Throughout 1997 and 1998, they played about 50 shows all over Michigan, several shows in the Chicago area, and a short tour in 1998 to play Indiana, Iowa and Minnesota. Zach became seriously ill on the tour and was replaced on bass by Jeff from Just For Kicks until the band broke up. The Bounty Hunters announced the band's breakup at a show at Vinyl Solution in Grand Rapids on November 27, 1998. They played their last show at Lexicon Club on February 26, 1999.
