Along with this grouping, Marco won 1st place in the TV show 3 2 1 game that aired on ATV. In 2000, he quit his office job at a financial institution to dedicate himself entirely to music. His greatest musical influence is thanked to his great friend, the composer Mario Cavagnaro, who, together with Oscar Avilés, invited him to participate in the group of young people of Creole music “Avanzada Criolla”. Marco Romero, is a net Creole. His song “Un poquito de tu amor”, a finalist in the fusion category of the II Claro Festival, was born driving in his car and was inspired by a love story. The album "Cajumba jolgorio negro" in 2009 seeks to make the traditional music of our country visible, respect it and find it with some modern elements, without ever neglecting that traditional cajoneo of the celebration and the honeycomb or the demonic movement of the hips of a good alcatraz in scene; but rather to enhance the Afro-Peruvian culture of our country. Marco has also participated as a music producer and singer on the album "Navidad Criolla", which became platinum after only 2 weeks of its release. "Navidad criolla" had volume 1 and "Navidad Criolla Volume 2" with the voices of Edith Barr, Bartola and Nicole Pillman, also becoming the best-selling album in the 2010 and 2011 Christmas parties.
