Everett Tree

Everett Tree is a collective of Northern California musicians and artists based around the songwriting of brothers Robert M Powell and Eric Powell. Everett Tree is fronted by Robert who also records and produces the music from his studio in Fairfax, CA. Besides his songwriting, Eric is a sculptor and his mandala ‘Solari’ graces the cover of the Everett Tree eponymous EP. A third Powell brother, Charlie, brings guitar, mandolin and vocals to various recordings and is an artist/illustrator as well (www.charliepowell.net). Susie Davis (Prince, Mick Jagger, Billy Idol) contributes keyboards and backing vocals. Jeffrey Beauchamp, guitars and vocals, is a fine art painter (jeffreybeauchamp.com) who also does much of the poster art for many of the Everett Tree shows. Tracy Blackman (Narada Michael Walden, Bob Weir, Jerry Harrison) adds backing vocals and acoustic guitar. Mark McCartney (Achilles Wheel, Shana Morrison) plays drums and percussion and sings backing vocals. Guitarist and singer Velvy Appleton (Spark & Whisper, Monica Pasqual, Little Gems) is a videographer (velvyappleton.com) who created the music video for “My Empire” the new single fronted by Everett Tree.
