Dick Burns

US West Coast guitarist, bassist, producer. Frequent collaborator of Gary Usher, Jerry Fuller and Glen Campbell. Studied at the University of Maryland. Worked for Dunhill and other ABC labels, Trousdale Music (manager since 1967), Amos Records / Amos Productions / Amos Productions, Inc. (A&R coordinator since 1968), Sunbury Music / Dunbar Music (manager). Left RCA Records in 1973 to join Metromedia Records. Produced artists such as Frankie Laine, Jimmie Rodgers, Glenn Yarbrough and Leslie Uggams. Born May 4, 1937 in Buffalo, NY. Died August 29, 2010 in Woodland Hills, CA. Not to be confused with US West Coast guitarist Dick Burns (2) of The Dartells ("Hot Pastrami")
