Nema (19)

From South West Virginia, Nema is a mixture of melodies, screams, heavy riffs, pounding beats and piercing lyrics that cut straight to the heart and soul. Formed in 2004, Nema has shared the stage with such bands as He is Legend (Tooth & Nail), Farless (Tooth & Nail), Every Time I Die (Solid State), Dog Fashion Disco, Gretchen, The 7 Method and more. After playing as much as possible becoming a fixture in the local VA, NC, TN scene, Nema inked their 1st deal with Redwall Music in 2006, and have been touring full time ever since. With the support of Redwall Music, Nema plans to release their freshman effort You Can Be All Flame recorded by Jamie King (Beloved, He is Legend, Far-Less) in spring of 2007. This disc showcases Nema's original blend of Rock, Metal and Hardcore music. While the Bon Jovi and Michael Jackson influence is subtle in their music, the influences of Deftones and Sevendust are more prominent. Nonetheless, Nema has managed to make a record that does not sound like the daily grind released day after day in the rock market. Since their inception in 2004 they have shared the stage with He is Legend, Far Less, Every time I Die, Dog fashion Disco, Gretchen and more. Nema is now expanding their horizons with their Redwall Music debut release, "You could be all flame".
