Betty AKA Beth (born April 18, 1930 in Memphis, Tennessee, died on May 11, 2013) after graduating from Miss Hutchison's School studied music and was crowned May Queen at Sweet Briar College. On November 23, 1950 she wed Leo J. Buchignani, Esq. of Memphis. Mrs. Buchignani was an accomplished pianist and published songwriter. She composed and wrote over 70 songs, reaching audiences across the country in 1967 with two MGM singles, "I Have, I Have," and "Tic Toc." Her collaboration with producer Stan Kessler and singer Beti Webb brought both songs to radio airwaves and "Tic Toc" to the national TV program, "Upbeat." Also, in 1962, she hosted a regular segment on a WKNO-TV children's program, Miss Chlo, featuring her puppet, "Miss Witchie.
