Gerda Beilenson

Lyricist and song collector. Born June 11, 1903 Died February 13, 1985, Minnesota. She was particularly fond of Hawaiian music and frequently collaborated with Hawaiian artists. She was married to lawyer, Larry Beilenson, who represented many celebrities including the Marx Brothers and Mario Lanza. Gerda collaborated with Harpo Marx in writing "Guardian Angels" which was recorded by Mario Lanza. Also Known As Gerda Momb, Gerda M. Momb, Gerda Maline, Gerda, Gerta Beilenson. ASCAP IPI #2526234.
