After several years of touring, they released their debut CD, Somewhere Between Mocksville and Harmony, which was picked by Billboard as one of the best of the year. Ironically, the disc saw the greatest amount of airplay in Spain, resulting in heavy touring throughout the country and a return to the boys' childhood home. The band's follow-up disc, Living in the Holland Tunnel, produced by pop legend Mitch Easter (REM, Let's Active, Pavement, etc.), was similarly well received, both at home and abroad. A track from "Holland Tunnel," "Cmon Over To My Side" was picked by Little Steven Van Zandt (Bruce Springsteen's longtime musical collaborator) as one of the Coolest Songs In The World on his nationally syndicated radio show "The Underground Garage." With longtime friend Robbie Rist (best known for his child acting on shows like The Brady Bunch, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and currently the voice of "Stuffy" on the hit Disney show Doc McStuffins) now permanently joining the band, they recorded their biggest album yet, The Lonesome Death of Electric Campfire which also saw release in Japan for the first time.
