Troy Lancaster is an American studio guitarist working in Nashville, TN. Since his arrival in 1986, he has played on over 35,000 songs featuring top contemporary artists and songwriters. Since establishing himself in studio recording, Troy has played on 50 #1 country songs and worked with prominent artists and songwriters including: Blake Shelton, Alan Parsons, Gwen Stefani, Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, Andrew Farriss of INXS, Loretta Lynn, Trace Adkins, Martina McBride, Rodney Atkins, Faith Hill, Kip Winger, Lin-Manual Miranda of Hamilton, Nicky Chinn, Harry Nilsson, Bobby Osbourne, Hank Williams Jr., George Jones, Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon, Mo Pitney, Michael Bolton and many others. Troy was nominated for the ACM guitar player of the year in 2014. He continues to maintain a busy recording schedule.
