Gretchen Schmaltz

American indie musician and vocalist. She grew up in a farming community and began pursuing music in 2004 after moving to Houston, Texas. She released her solo EP Laced Up Tightly in 2007 and was also a member of the band The Western Civilization. Schmaltz now works in education.
