Arantxa Castilla La Mancha

Arantxa Castilla La Mancha (sometimes stylized as Arantxa Castilla-La Mancha) is the stage name of José Méndez García, a drag performer and one of the contestants of the first season of Drag Race España. Her drag name is essentially the Spanish "equivalent" of Hannah Montana, but has multiple other origins. "Arantxa" is a common name in Spain, similarly to how "Hannah" is in the United States. "Castilla-La Mancha" and "Montana" are territories of the respective countries. Additionally, "Arantxa" and "La Mancha" rhyme, just like "Hannah" and "Montana." It also comes from a popular kids song, using the same alliteration, "Arancha-cha, de la Mancha-cha..."
