Finnish-Swedish drummer, born June 17, 1952 in Tampere, Finland, died on May 30, 2022. The parents moved to Sweden in 1953 and settled in Söderhamn in 1960. As a 13-year-old, Henrik became a member of the pop band Why (4), which in 1967 became one of the ten finalists in the nationwide pop band competition "Zingotoppen" and dissolved in 1969. He was a percussionist in the jazz rock group Splash from the same city 1973-1979. In the mid-1970s, he was also part of Monica Törnell's band (together with Per Sydén and Bror Törnell) and also played with her during the 1980s. During the period up to 1983, he also played for Pugh Rogefeldt, Magnus Lindberg and Magnus Uggla, among others. He also joined the dance band Thorleifs. Hildén then became drummer in the hard rock band Trash, followed by a collaboration with John Norum. He has also played with Glenn Hughes, Don Dokken, Midnight Sun, Shock Tilt and Baltimoore. Hildén lived in Karlskrona in the last decades before his death in 2022.
