Unathi

Vocalist, poet and radio personality, Unathi was Born in Grahamstown, South Africa, brought up in Namibia and spent many years in London. Unathi moved to Johannesburg in 2001 becoming a presenter for Castle Loud, a music related T.V show with Stoan and then moved onto YFM, Gauteng's leading radio Station. She is also a graduate at Rhodes University for journalism and drama, released her debut album ‘My First Time’ which was about her homecoming and was released in 2005. Her second album, was released through Kalawa Jazzmee in June and features top-notch South African music talent like Victor Masondo and Don Laka, along with the D.C.C. crew. She has moved from Y-FM and currently does the afternoon drive show with Glen Lewis on one of the biggest radio stations in the South Africa, Metro FM.
