Mike Baker (7)

Country & Western guitarist. Has been a Nashville studio artist since the early 1970s when he was 18 and played bass for Marty Martel. Other session work has included David Alan Coe, Bobby G. Rice, Freddy Hart and Moe Bandy & Joe Stampley. Baker played both rhythm and lead guitar for Billy Walker, Tommy Cash, Eddie Raven, Dottie West, Jim Ed Brown and Helen Cornelius. In 1979, Baker began working with Vern Gosdin. Baker has also collaborated with Debrah Kay, and since the late 1990s has led the Grizzly Rose Band. Baker also plays the Grand Ole Opry, frequently with Jim Ed Brown.
