The Faceless

Formed in 2004, the Faceless are a Progressive/technical death metal band from US. The band has been through numerous line-up changes since its formation and the sole remaining member is founding member Michael Keene. The Faceless were the first band to ever be signed to Sumerian Records, and released their debut album Akeldama in 2006. Two years later, in 2008, they released their 2nd album titled Planetary Duality which, for the first time, placed them on the Billboard 200 at #119. By 2011, their original vocalist Derek Rydquist had left the band. That same year, the band recruited Geoffrey Ficco as their new vocalist as well as notable bassist Evan Brewer. In 2012, the band released their 3rd album Autotheism which placed #50 on the Billboard 200. By 2014, their vocalist Geoff left the band to focus on other projects. In 2015, the band released a new single titled The Spiraling Void which featured their original vocalist Derek Rydquist. The band also recruited Justin McKinney of The Zenith Passage. Though, it wasn't until 2017 when the band released their 4th album titled In Becoming A Ghost. Rydquist wasn't recruited as a full time member and only featured on a few songs. Ken Bergeron of Abigail Williams performed vocals on the album as their full-time vocalist and played with them on the Summer Slaughter tour in 2017. By 2018, Bergeron and all other members of the Faceless, besides Keene, had left the band.
