The Petticoats

After London-based German punk vocalist Stef Petticoat's first band 'Necessary Evil' split up, she created 'The Petticoats', in which she sang and played all of the instruments. They released a single EP on Stef's own label, Bla-Bla-Bla Records, recorded a Peel session in 1981 and recorded (with Robert Crash) 'Paranoia', 'Life-No' and 'Dreams' for '710088' in 1981. Soon after in that year Stef formed Amy and the Angels.
