Raysean Brown

Hailing from Orlando, Florida, Raysean Brown (also known as Smoke) is an American hip-hop artist, songwriter and community activist who personifies the potent mix of immensely talented artist, loyal product of the streets and highly educated advocate for community and social change. In 2018, Raysean Brown made his national debut as one half of the hip-hop duo, Smoke and JuJu. These childhood friends came together to release their 12-track debut studio album, Fried English. On that project, Raysean quickly established himself as a dope MC and lyricist. Released in 2019, the rapper’s self-titled debut solo album, Raysean Brown, explores the duality of a fiercely talented young man, who finds himself balancing the allure of the streets and its trappings, and his calling as a community activist and role model.
