Jorge Verdin is a music producer / visual artist. As a member of Clorofila, he formed part of Nortec Collective, the Tijuana based ensemble that created the Nortec sound, a fusion of Banda and Música Norteña (genres from the North of México) with Electronic music and production techniques. During this time, Verdin contributed music to the collective's albums, as well as art directing the visual side of the group, via identity-bending graphic explorations of Mexican identity and stereotypes. In 2005, he began to produce music as tre/molo, which later changed to Tremolo Audio, and released "Visitas" in 2008, an album of remixed versions of songs from a yet to be released album. After Nortec Collective ceased activities as an ensemble in 2007, he released two solo albums under the Clorofila name, “Corridos Urbanos” (2010) and “Ahorita Vengo” (2014). Since 2010 he has been a collaborator of Teatro Linea de Sombra, an highly acclaimed Mexican theatre company, writing music and creating sound design for plays and large scale installations.
