Deadfall (8)

Spawning from the remains of a couple of small bands from Meadville, Pennsylvania, the beginning of Deadfall was somewhat unexpected, yet somehow just right. The remaining members of Alien Joe/Cavendish, Jon and Pat, had long been talking about playing music together again, and decided in the spring of 1998 that it was time to do something about it. They invited him over, just to jam out some songs, because they knew he was always up for playing music. After the first jam session the three knew they had something, and at that moment Justin joined the band. The final piece, and problem, was to locate a second guitarist. The three jammed with a few of their friends, until they thought about asking Justin's former guitar players in Numb/MapCap to jam with them separately. After a few rehearsals, the trio decided that the best candidate for this role was Matt.
