Machinist and Fabricator. Machine Operator for Survival Research Laboratories. Rand has been a machinist / builder for many America's Cup racing syndicates. Rand also built models at Industrial Light and Magic (including a land speeder used in Star Wars). Rand is also credited for Visual Effects Department in the 1984 Steven Spielberg movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. He has also worked on the Clock of the Long Now, a clock designed to keep time for 10,000 years.
