Nate Basinger

Musician in Austin, Texas. Basinger plays Hammond organ, piano and accordion. Originally from Iowa, he studied music and ethnomusicology at the University of Iowa. After college, he played keyboards and accordion with midwestern folk, blues and soul artists including Diplomats of Solid Sound, Andre Williams, Bo Ramsey, Iris Dement and Pieta Brown. He also worked as a staff accompanist for the University of Iowa Department of Dance.
