Об исполнителе:
Swedish songwriter and artist, born in 1958 in Kalix. In 1995, Karlsson composed the official fight song for Sweden's men's national ice hockey team when Sweden hosted the men's world championship in 1995. Nick Borgen recorded the song together with the players, and released it as a promotional single. The song has later become common around the ice rinks when the home team scores a goal. Since the World Cup final between Finland and Sweden in 1995, where Finland won, it is also sung in Finland. The words Den glider in comes from a famous report by the Swedish radio reporter Lennart Hyland, when Nils Nilsson scored the decisive goal in an empty net as Sweden won 5–3 against Canada and then won the entire tournament at the 1962 world championship in the state of Colorado in the USA. The tune was tested on the Svensktoppen, where it was 29 April–6 May 1995, and placed in first and third place, respectively.
