e-band (3)

e-band is a musical collaboration of composers/instrumentalists Jim Aron and Robert Strizich. Each has extensive experience in the composition and performance of new music, augmented by a broad background in a variety of other musical forms—including early music, traditional art music of the common-practice period, experimental improvisation and post-bebop jazz. Blending live instruments and electronic sounds in both real-time performances and recorded works, these two musicians explore the use of the computer as an interactive partner in the compositional process.
