Russian heavy metal/punk/hardcore/grindcore band. In the late 80s, rock culture finally strengthened its position in the USSR and came out of the underground, giving birth to many rock groups throughout the country. Novorossiysk-city was no exception. It all started in the garage of one of the "fuckers" Igor Prokopenko, where hippies, punks and avant-garde artists gathered and peacefully coexisted. The official foundation date is considered to be July 8th of 1990, when Artur Silkov and Dmitry Polovko came up with the name FUCKER. In the beginning, the band's work was influenced by blues, heavy metal and hardcore punk. In the summer of 1991, FUCKER was certified by the Culture Department of the City Executive Committee together with other Novorossiysk groups. From 1991 to 1992 the band moved on to thrash and death metal. One of the first in the city, the rhythm section was overclocked to grindcore speeds in the spirit of NAPALM DEATH. In 1996, experiments with electronics unexpectedly followed (the album CASIOPEYA). After the incomprehensible tragic murder of Artur Silkov in February 1997, Oleg Tonkonog returned to the group, and in 1999 the ensemble was reinforced by Alexei Voronov. Since 1997, festivals in memory of Artur Silkov have been regularly held, which attracted huge crowds of the band's fans and all rock music lovers. At the concerts of the group, theatrical and costume shows and pyrotechnics were widely used. The musical style of the group was constantly changing. In 2005 the musicians were invited to Saint Petersburg for concerts with the "Король и Шут". However, Andrey Lisovskiy got on the operating table, and everything was canceled. Later, the drummer's health began to deteriorate, and yet he was the heart of the group. Since 2008, the group has not played, but has not announced its breakup either. There were repeated attempts to resuscitate the group, but the death of Andrey Lisovsky in September 2014 put the final point. It is not surprising that FUCKER will remain in the memory and hearts of many hard rock lovers, because the musicians put their whole souls into creativity. Each rehearsal sounded like a concert, and the concert - like the last performance in life...
