Canadian record company executive at WEA Music Of Canada, Ltd. / Warner Music Canada Ltd. After a few years cutting his teeth in the music business at Sam The Record Man and Muntz Canada, he started with WEA in 1978 and by the early 1980s was Product Manager for Warner/Elektra/Atlantic labels. Responsible for launching WEA Canada's direct marketing label WEA Custom in May 1984. Launched WEA's short-lived heavy metal magazine Heavy Metal News in August 1985 (and wrote articles under the pseudonym Lowell Spark). Promoted to WEA's Vice President of National Promotion and Special Product on May 1, 1988. In 1994 became Warner Music Canada's Vice President of A&R. In 1998 he was promoted to Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the US division. Producer of many compilations from the Warner/Elektra/Atlantic R&B back catalogue in the late 1980s and early 1990s, he was nominated for a 1987 Grammy in the Best Historical Album category for his Otis Redding compilations The Otis Redding Story (Volume One: Mr. Pitiful) and The Otis Redding Story Volume Two: Deep Soul.
