FRACTAL is an alternative metal band, although the members themselves describe their music as psychocore. The group was founded in May 2009 in Radom by Bill (bass), Prusz (drums) and Przema (guitar), who, after the disbandment of the previous project, decided to continue their activities and expand their line-up. Keller was the first to join - the guitarist and mask maker that he uses on stage. Soon after, the vocalist - Kwak joined the line-up, whose place in June 2010 was taken by Jah. In March 2012 Kornik (guitar) joined the line-up, replacing Keller. The band's music is characterized primarily by heavy and aggressive sound, combined with a large dose of melody and psychedelia. At the turn of August and September 2009, the band's first mini-album "Moon Key" was recorded, containing 3 songs, thus opening the way for the band to many scenes. Fractal played many concerts all over Poland, winning the sympathy of the audience at many festivals, including: - Rock in Mińsk Fest 2009 in Mińsk Mazowiecki, - Rykowisko Live 2009 in Ryki - taking 1st place, - Radom Music Drive 2009 - taking 2nd place , - 3rd edition of the Our Side of Mrock Festival in Grodzisk Mazowiecki - taking 2nd place - 11th edition of the International Rock Festival "Rock by Night" in Zielona Góra - Lizard King Festival 2010 in Toruń, - Rock Alert Festival 2010 in Lubartów, where he received a distinction. Fractal has had the pleasure of performing with the stars of the Polish music scene more than once, including Acid Drinkers, Lipali, Proletaryat, Turbo, Lao Che or Alicetea. In spring 2011, the band recorded their second EP album - "Second Cuts".
