ALF is a fictional character from the TV series "ALF" (1986-1990). His real name in the show is Gordon Shumway. Voiced by Paul Fusco in the English language version and by Thomas Piper (2) in the German language version. The "ALF" character has been used by a number of different artists for radio plays and music releases, among others. Please specify the real contributing artists in the credits section. For German radio plays see: ALF (3) Summary on the TV show, from TV.com: "Gordon Shumway, last known survivor from the planet Melmac, crash-lands his spaceship into Willie Tanner's family suburban garage. Willie dubs him 'ALF', short for Alien Life Form. After convincing a military officer that they are not harboring a space creature, the Tanners decide to take ALF in as a member of the family." Samples of various episodes, along with a specially created music track were used by Ben Liebrand to make a mix for the Dutch radio station "Veronica" (he remixed a different song every week). The mix was eventually released and reached the Dutch charts. Liebrand created a second mix with different samples for the radio (called 'the Hiccups mix').
